Joseph G. Colao

Managing Partner

Joe Colao is an experienced litigator and trial attorney in both state and federal courts. He has tried cases in New York and other jurisdictions and has supervised trials across the country. He also has vast appellate experience and has argued cases in several departments of New York’s Appellate Division, as well as in New York’s highest appellate court, the Court of Appeals.

Joe has been the “go to” lawyer for major clients of the firm for many years and is known for his commitment to success and achievement of his clients’ goals, even in the most difficult of circumstances. His calm demeanor and ability to handle pressure with poise and grace have made him a favorite of corporate General Counsels around the country.

Glen Silverstein

As lead trial counsel, Glen has won dozens of trials in Federal and State courts and before arbitration panels for DuPont, Morgan Stanley, Ascend Performance Materials, Guardian/Park Avenue Securities, Bankers Financial, Lincolnshire Management, Sun Chemical, Paul Stuart, Global Brands Marketing, Compass Partners International and Whirlpool. Glen also has significant experience handling regulatory inquiries and internal investigations including matters dealing with sensitive issues and high-profile subjects. He has also been involved in matters relating to the U.S. Government probe into untaxed assets held in foreign countries.

Glen combines his top-flight trial instincts and clear communication skills, as evidenced in his deft cross examination and openings/closings, with an affinity for solving complex economic problems. This enables him to present his clients’ cases in a direct and persuasive manner.
