Patrick Fitzmaurice defends a broad range of clients in premises liability matters, contract actions and product liability suits throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

He handles cases from inception to resolution, including drafting preliminary objections and other pleadings; conducting discovery, including written discovery, depositions and motion practice; drafting dispositive motions; and appellate practice. Patrick has obtained numerous judgments for clients in both state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels.

Patrick’s representative matters include drafting a victorious motion for summary judgment in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and subsequent successful appellate brief before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals based upon assumption of risk in a premises liability action; prevailing on a summary judgment motion in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas based upon successor liability; and drafting two successful interlocutory appeals before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania challenging jurisdiction, compelling the case against his client to be arbitrated in accordance with the contract at issue.

He also received a certificate in trial advocacy and was an editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review.
