Kaitlynn (“Katy”) Landes is a litigation associate in the Philadelphia office.
 
Prior to joining the firm, Katy gained litigation experience at a regional West Virginia firm and with the West Virginia State Tax Division. Katy has experience handling a broad range of matters, including athletic eligibility, contract, employment, product liability, Freedom of Information Act requests and real estate.  Her work also encompassed mineral rights and tax controversies, including tobacco excise tax, sales tax, nexus determinations, and tax credit eligibility.
 
During law school, Katy served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas Kleeh, Chief U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of West Virginia. As a judicial intern she assisted the Judge with various pretrial issues. Katy also interned for the West Virginia Secretary of State, gaining experience in grant work and regulatory matters.
