New YorkCaroline Marino litigates a wide range of commercial litigation and products liability actions in state and federal courts across the country. Current and past matters include:
- Defense of an equipment manufacturer from case inception through trial as part of a national coordinating counsel team handling ongoing products liability litigation in state and federal courts;
- Defense of an equipment manufacturer and its distributor in a breach of contract action relating to underground oil drilling operations;
- Defense of an international chemical manufacturing company in a federal breach of contract action based on negotiations for the purchase of a mining and chemical processing facility;
- Representation of an automotive refinish product manufacturer in state and federal breach of contract actions nationwide;
- Defense of a publicly-traded manufacturing corporation, including successfully setting aside a $4 million default judgment and vacating the underlying entry of default, in a federal action alleging breach of contract and state retailer protection statutes; and
- Defense of a major appliance manufacturer in a variety of matters in state and federal courts.
Caroline also counsels clients on both litigation and non-litigation issues relating to state dealer protection statutes, and she advises and assists various financial institution clients in connection with regulatory investigations and compliance matters.
