Asbestos Litigation


For fifteen years, we have represented both manufacturing defendants and premises owners in the challenging and demanding world of asbestos litigation.  Indeed, in 2005, we were selected as National Coordinating Counsel for a manufacturer of precision equipment to devise and implement its defense to asbestos claims nationwide.  In such role, we supervise law firms across the country in preparing asbestos cases for trial.  We are well versed in all aspects of the litigation including issues involving product identification, state of the art, causation and exposure, and the unique medical issues presented by these cases.  We work closely with experts, and are well versed in the different nuances of the law in multiple jurisdictions.  We have developed a reputation of knowing when to fight hard by taking cases to trial when necessary, and of being able to resolve cases favorably for our clients prior to trial.  For one of our clients, we have resolved thousands of cases over the past fifteen years.  We have also counseled corporate clients on bankruptcy related asbestos issues and, in connection with potential mergers or acquisitions, on the impact of acquiring a company with potential asbestos liability.
