Thomas K. Richards is a litigator well-versed in the intricacies of litigation in both state and federal courts, across a broad spectrum of disciplines including intellectual property, trade secrets, antitrust, securities and commercial litigation, as well as toxic tort defense work.
Intellectual Property / Trade Secrets
Thomas has represented leading software companies, online businesses, and other technology producers in connection with the protection of their intellectual property and trade secrets. He has also handled TROs and injunctions on behalf of large corporations in connection with the protection of their trademarks.
Financial litigation and advice
Thomas represents one of the world’s largest financial institutions in connection with its disclosure obligations. Thomas has also represented a large international food exporter in connection with its positions in the derivatives market and has counseled that entity in connection with financing arrangements.
Toxic Tort
Thomas has defended chemical and agri-business corporations in connection with toxic tort claims against them.
