David Salazar is an associate in Leader & Berkon's Los Angeles office. He has ample experience representing a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and government agencies in several jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California.

David has experience litigating product liability, transportation and general negligence cases. Early in his career, he second-chaired a product liability matter with significant exposure in one of the most difficult venues in the country, resulting in a favorable settlement for the client after two days of trial.

David has also represented school districts and school officials in civil rights cases alleging Title IX and due process violations. Most recently, he successfully defended a private education institution in a matter involving allegations of failure to report child abuse under the state's mandatory reporting act. David's argument resulted in a published opinion in Nace v. Pennridge School District, 2016 WL 2609789, 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 60244 (E.D.Pa. 2016).

In the field of employment, David has successfully defended public and private employers in cases involving allegations of racial discrimination, hostile work environment, wrongful termination and retaliation. David was able to resolve many of these cases via dispositive motions.

While in law school, David spent his summers working on capital cases, including habeas corpus petitions and state post-conviction appeals.
